World Fintech holds second national conference
The second National Fintech Conference will hold from January 25 to 26, 2018. This is coming on the heels of its successful first edition, which held in April 2017 and was a sold out event with participants cutting across various industries from over 20 countries across the world.
The event, which will be jointly hosted by Fintech Associates Limited, Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN), Center for Financial Studies, FintechStage (Italy), Fintech Association of Nigeria (FAN) and other local and foreign partners, will hold at the Landmark Centre, Plot 2-3, Water Corporation Road, Victoria Island, Lagos.
This year’s edition promises to herald the contemporary thinking and discovery in financial technology and its dynamism. No fewer than 800 participants comprising individuals and corporate organisations of different sectors from various countries around the globe are to engage and chart a path for speedy growth of Fintech in Nigeria and Africa.
Some of the participating institutions include the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Ecobank, Infinitisys, Accion Venture Lab, MainOne Cable, Systemspecs, Softalliance, Courteville Business Solutions and other corporate organisations.
The conference will feature high-profile speakers, experts and public figures, innovative start-ups, the maiden Nigerian FinTech Award night and the formal launch of FAN, among others.
