These donations were made in memory of her late founding Chief Executive Officer, UchennaObidike and also part of their commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives.

According to the CEO of Weco Systems International, ObinnaEkwonwa, “ Weco Systems International’s commitment towards capacity development and nation building is unwavering and this has made the donations to selected primary schools in remote areas of Lagos and Anambra state necessary, we have discovered that the pupils and students in remote areas seem to be left behind in the area of ICT development as they hardly have access to these ICT equipment, we therefore decided to consider the students at the grassroots in order give every child an opportunity to develop and globally compete with their counter parts in this digital age”.

He further reiterated that the late CEO loved to encourage and empower young people especially the less privileged by investing in their lives to make a difference in Nigeria.

While receiving the ICT equipments for the selected Primary schools in Eredo LCDA in Epe, Lagos State, the Aladeshonyin of OdoNoforija Kingdom, Oba BabatundeOgunlaja, expressed immense gratitude towards Weco Systems.

“We appreciate the humble gestures of your organization towards the educational development in Lagos State and my communities by deeming it fit to donate Computer systems and accessories to selected primary schools in which my domain happened to be one of the beneficiaries. I say more grease to your elbow”, the king stressed.
