Smile Telecoms takes services to Kaduna, Onitsha, Asaba

To avail more Nigerians of its 4G LTE Internet services, Smile Nigeria has extended its operations to the cities of Kaduna, Onitsha and Asaba. By this action, Smile has ensured the availability of broadband service for the inhabitants of these three vital and strategic cities.

Deploying the 4G LTE, which is the latest, most advanced and most flexible global technological standard for wireless data communications, and represents a big change when compared to older technologies such as 3G, Smile’s network coverage has remained a great delight to its customers.

Having launched Africa’s first 4G LTE network in Tanzania in 2012 and operating another successful network in Uganda, Smile started in Nigeria in 2012 with its Ibadan network rollout. Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt and Benin City followed in quick succession.
