It will bring us ‘Closer’
The Social Media Week (SMW) Lagos features over 200 sessions and experiences ranging from keynote speeches, masterclasses, workshops, meetups, Panel discussions to talks. The immersive event is a perfectly blended cocktail of sessions aimed at bridging the gap between individualism and community. The Guardian Sessions
Also in the riveting programming of the SMW Lagos are two panel discussions hosted by The Guardian. The first session titled ‘Staying profitable in the time of aggregators’ beams on how news platforms can stay financially relevant in the days of the platform business model. It will also look into ways to maximize returns on your original content, how to categorize aggregators and most importantly, how to profit despite the aggregators.
Founder and CEO of Kraks Tv, Femi Bakre; Nollywood Actress, Kemi ‘Lala’ Akindoju, and Marcel Mbamalu, News editor, The Guardian are the panellists in the second session that discusses the power of media and how to effect change with the content we produce.
