NCC directs telecom providers to keep comprehensive database

The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has directed all network providers to keep accurate and comprehensive database of all registered subscribers and their activities at all times and designated places, warning that any defaulter would be dealt with, according to the law.

Director, Consumer Affairs Bureau of the commission, Mrs. Felicia Onwuegbuchulam gave the directive on behalf of NCC at the 44th edition of Consumer Town Hall meeting in Imo State.

She said as a telecommunication regulator, the commission has the right to protect providers and ensue that consumers are not exploited.
