When it comes to football, everybody knows that the sport can be extremely competitive. Given the worldwide popularity of the sport, this competition has made football into one of the biggest sports around, and it also has a fanbase that consists of some of the most passionate people possible. As most will know, football also has a betting scene that is one of the most popular in the world, and those who have good football knowledge can put their money where their mouths are and try to win money. Of course, those who want an alternative experience can try playing at the best online gambling sites if they want to win big.

Fans will be aware that every football season plays host to two transfer windows, in which clubs can sell or buy players to bolster their squads. This has become a staple of football culture and every year, fans speculate on which high profile players will move, and which players will stay. This speculation can throw the future of certain players up into the air, and this is exactly what has happened with Kylian Mbappe. It is no secret that the wonderkid eventually wants to go to Real Madrid, as it is likely his dream club. While this will upset PSG fans, there is no doubt that Real Madrid fans will be all too happy to let the French youngster join the Spanish side.

In the past, La Liga has always been dominated by Barcelona and Real Madrid. Those who have been watching football for a while will even know that Barcelona used to be the best team in the world when Pep Guardiola was still in charge. In recent years, Barcelona has declined somewhat following the loss of star players and a mountain of debt for the club to climb. Given this context, rivals Madrid will be looking to capitalise on this decline, as they are already doing in La Liga. In fact, Madrid currently sits at the top of the table with 75 points, while Barcelona only has 60 points.

Signing a striker is likely one of the most impactful types of transfers possible, and it is well-known that Madrid is looking to add a world-class striker to their line-up. Likely, this will be Kylian Mbappe, but the Spanish giant is also prepared to make another deal in case the transfer of Mbappe falls through. Currently, Bayern and Robert Lewandowski cannot agree on contract terms, and this has left Barcelona to look at the Polish international with hungry eyes. However, given that Lewandowski is one of the best strikers in the world, Real Madrid will also look to sign him provided that the Mbappe deal falls through.

This isn’t an unlikely reality either – Lewandowski has already expressed an interest in playing in Spain given that he is now in the twilight of his career. Of course, if a bidding war were to happen between the two clubs, there is no doubt that Real Madrid will win given Barcelona’s financial difficulties. However, only time will tell, and fans will know that all will be revealed during the summer.
