Today is the 89th birthday of Africa’s Nobel laureate, Professor ‘Wole Soyinka. We wish the ecumenical being many happy returns of the day in good health, safety, joy, honour and contentment. Amen.

Professor Wole Soyinka was the special guest of the Moroccan government at the 28th edition of that country’s weeklong book festival which drew literary celebrities from both within and outside the North African country.
