Still licking the wounds from the collapsed building in Jos North local government area of Plateau State where 15 persons lost their lives recently, another building collapsed in the local government area on Monday night claiming the lives of three persons with three others sustaining various degrees of injury.
Unidentified gunmen have again, killed the Dakacin Langai of Kadunu Community of Pyam Chiefdom in Mangu Council Area, Plateau State, Alhaji Mohammed Bayero. Eyewitnesses told The Guardian that the incident occurred about 8pm on Sunday throwing the community into mourning and confusion as a result of Bayero’s killing at his palace.
Following the reported outbreak of measles in some parts of the country, Niger, Lagos, and Plateau states, however, said no case was recorded in the states. Suspected cases of the disease were recorded at Wusar Community of Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State, where some children died.
