We are created to reign as kings in life, having dominion over everything God has created on Earth. Though we may have lost it in the beginning, due to our sins of disobedience, God through His love for us, made the ultimate sacrifice to restore us to His original purpose, John 3:16 says, For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life” that we should no more suffer in slavery, due to our separation from God but be reconciled to our Creator through the sacrifices of the blood of Jesus and be called sons of the living God.

Romans 3:24 says we were being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: And now as a child of God, we are qualified to share in the glory of His inheritance, as the crowned Prince of the heaven and Earth.

Daniel 7:14: “And to Him was given dominion, Glory and a kingdom, That all the peoples, nations and men of every language Might serve Him His dominion is an everlasting dominion Which will not pass away; And His kingdom is one Which will not be destroyed. Romans 8:17: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

This is not to be attained by your own efforts. It is an all-expense-paid glorious status that God has prepared for you, as mentioned in the book of Romans 8:29 – 30. For whom He did foreknow, He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of His Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

Moreover, whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. God has done all that is needed to enthrone you, giving you all it takes to live a royal life. He starts with a call to everyone that may harken to Him that they should freely come notwithstanding the amount of sin they may have committed. Isaiah 1: 18 & 19 God says: “Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins are as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:”

This is a clear indication that God does not want the sinner to perish in his sin. Moreover, since we are His children and He is the everlasting King, it will only be appropriate for us to live a life of royalty.

1Pe 2:9, But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. You are not just a king to rule in this world and take authority over physical things, but you are also made a priest rule over spiritual things to be a priest unto the Lord becoming a mediator between Men and God, so much that through you they may hear from God and also see his good works in you.

You will now take your rightful place Isaiah 60:1-3 God words command you to “Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.”

You are a King and a Priest. Rule in this world and show the evidence of His riches towards you. When you forget the son of whom you are, it’s likened to an eagle that stays too long with the chicken, that he forgot he was made to fly higher than them. Don’t rub yourself in the mud called sin and its pleasure, for the wages of sin is death and this death is not the kind we know that every man will experience. It is different, it makes you lose your royal status and get locked out of the palace of God’s blessings.
