Apart from child exchange one thing a man can experience in his life is exchange of spirit. This could be through demonic transfer or laying of hands.

1 Timothy 5:22 says, “Lay hands suddenly on no man…” The law of diffusion says gaseous molecules move from a region of higher concentration to that of lower concentration. So also in the spirit realm, there is the transfer of spirits or anointing from the region of higher concentration to that of lower concentration. In other words, if you lay hands on a person who is demonically high there will be a transfer of demons into you, especially if your spiritual temperature is low.

Some time ago, a young Christian lady was praying for someone who was bedwetting and discovered that the person stopped bedwetting while she started. “I pray for you, whatever is not of God that was transferred into you is coming out now in Jesus’ name.”

In Acts 8:16-18, we see that the Holy Ghost can be transferred by the laying of hands. In the same vein, demonic spirits can be transferred; it could be the spirit of fear or immorality. If an adulterer lays hands on a man, for instance, he can begin to have strange urge for immorality. Exchange of spirits can also be done by association. Prov. 22:24 says if you associate with an angry man there will be a transfer of the spirit of anger. Prov. 13:20 also says if you walk with wise men, you will be wise. Sometime ago, I listened to confessions of some marine agents, how they exchange babies in the womb by mere touch of a pregnant woman. If you are pregnant, be careful who touches or embraces you because some strange spirits can be transferred to the unborn child. Be careful also who you borrow clothing from or give out your clothes to wear. A lady was healed in one of our services from a strange headache, which had lasted for a couple of years. It was discovered that it started when she gave her head tie to someone to use.

Another thing that can be exchanged is the brain. This has to do with the mind as we see in the case of Nebuchadnezzar in Dan. 4:16, 30-34. He became like a beast and was driven into the forest. A woman took her children to a false prophet some time ago to make charms for protection. After the procedures she discovered that her son who used to come top in his class was now last in position. The prophet washed the head of the child with coconut water and did other rituals that obviously resulted in an exchange of the child’s brain. She cried to me and after just a simple prayer by the grace of God the child was restored. There can also be wealth exchange. Prov. 13:22 says the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just. In Ex. 12:35-36, God transferred the wealth of the Egyptians to the Israelites in one night. Also, individuals can transfer wealth demonically. A rich man confessed that he borrows money from people and buries it so that all their labours go to him. This is witchcraft burial. “Whosoever is using your money spiritually, may they receive fire in Jesus’ name.”
