RCCG Comforters Assembly, LP 38 inaugurates a new parish

The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Comforters Assembly, Lagos Province 38 will today at Ijegun Road, Alimosho Local Council Area of Lagos inaugurates a new parish called Tabernacle of Praise.

The Pastor in charge of RCCG Comforters Assembly, Muyiwa Matilukuro, said the initiative towards establishing a new parish was based on the church’s second mission, which has to do with soul winning and for millions of people to make heaven.

He said: “We are to take as many people with us to heaven and also ensure that we have a member of RCCG in every family of all nations to achieve and accomplish this. We are to plant churches within five minutes walking distance in every city and town of developing countries and within 15 minutes driving distance in every city and town of developed countries.”

Matilukuro explained that the church is also committed to communicating and teaching timeless and undiluted truth of the wisdom of God and the new life in Christ through contemporary, creative, and culturally relevant means attractive to a post-modern generation of seekers.
