From the time our first parents, Adam and Eve, committed the sin of disobedience by eating the forbidden fruit and were sent out of the Garden of Eden, man lost the glory of God and was lost in sinful activities

Brother Williams Matthew testifying how he was healed of a moving object and other ailments for 45 years<br />

John 10:10, “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life and that they might have it more abundantly.”

From the time our first parents, Adam and Eve, committed the sin of disobedience by eating the forbidden fruit and were sent out of the Garden of Eden, man lost the glory of God and was lost in sinful activities. God’s plan for their lives was distorted. As a result of this sin, suffering started in their lives.

The sin committed by Adam and Eve affected all mankind. This singular act of Adam and Eve ushered the Devil into the world, hence sin started ruling the world, as was brought by the Devil. Man became a walking corpse, who, though living physically, is in a spiritual vacuum. The Devil has stolen the glory and spiritual life God bestowed on a man at creation. Thus, the man began to live under the Devil’s command and influence.

Brother Abraham also glorified God for restoring his memory as well as healing him of heart failure after 14 years.

In order to prevent execution of the Devil’s plan, our Lord Jesus Christ came for our deliverance from the yoke and bondage of the Devil, to give us life in abundance, prompting the declaration of the words in our text above. The Devil saddled man with the burden of sins so that he remains in perpetual suffering and in complete obedience to the Devil’s dictates. The Bible even further declared in 1st John 3:8, “He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil”.

As a result of Adam’s unfortunate encounter with the Devil in the Garden of Eden, he was introduced into the sin of disobedience and has continued to live in sin. The sin of Adam brought doom to man, but God is a merciful God, would not allow man, whom he created in His image and likeness to perish and go to hell. And that is why He made a provision for man’s escape through Jesus Christ. Heb9v22 says “And almost all things are by the law purged with blood, and without shedding of blood is no remission.”

Jesus Christ came to fulfil this law by dying on the cross of Calvary in order to redeem man from the sin of Adam. Our Lord Jesus Christ manifested in order to destroy the Devil’s work in the life of man. Based on the manifestation of our Lord Jesus Christ, any man who embraces Him will no longer suffer the death and destruction earlier planned by the Devil.

IJn 3v9-10 “Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin, for His seed remaineth in Him and he cannot sin because he is born of God. In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil, whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God…”

Our Lord Jesus Christ came to take away the burden of sin, laid upon man by the devil. Hence, the Bible says in Matthew 11:27-29, “All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him. 28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavily laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls”.

Our Lord Jesus Christ has received all things, including the power to save from the bondage of sin. Hence, He is calling all men of this planet Earth to come to Him with their burden of sin. They are to lay whatever problems Devil has laid on them and take rest as a reward for embracing Jesus Christ. He came for that purpose of carrying our burden, died for our sins and brought reconciliation between us and God, our Maker. It is only when a man is in right standing with God that he will be able to fulfil the purpose of his creation. God created man for His pleasure according to Revelation 4:11 saying, “Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure, they are and were created”. God’s original plan is that man should always have fellowship with Him, and then have dominion and rule over the world. He equally gave man all things.

Unfortunately, when man succumbed to the Devil’s deceit, disobeyed God by eating the forbidden fruit, he fell from the glory of God and lost everything God had planned for him. Our Lord Jesus Christ came for the restoration of the glory lost in the Garden of Eden. God created man in His own image and likeness that man will be in charge on earth, serving as God’s representative.

The Bible says that in Genesis 1:27-28, “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. 28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth”.

As God’s replica (image) and representative on earth, the man was given the power of dominion over all other creatures of the earth. He is at the same time to multiply to replenish the earth. Christ has come for the restoration of all these to bring man back to God. To enable all these to take place in the life of any man, he must repent from his sins and embrace Jesus Christ as his Lord and Saviour.

By accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, one becomes free from the yoke and bondage of the Devil and his agents. That is why the Bible says in John 8:36, “If the Son, therefore, shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed”. Jesus Christ has come to set us free from the bondage of sin. That freedom Jesus Christ has brought will only work in your life, if you repent of your sins, accept Him as your Lord and Saviour. He will come into your life to take over your affairs. Your actions will be guided by the spirit of God. He will ensure your needs are taken care of. Devil will have no power over you again, and at the end of this earthly life, you will meet with Jesus in heaven to part no more.

Testimony Of The Lord’s Doing
God Of Impossibility Has Done It Again

MY name is Brother Temple. I am a Special Forces Soldier, and I reside in an Army Barracks. I joined Chosen on February 2011. I want to thank God for making me a Chosen.

My testimony goes thus:
I was sent to combat Boko Haram terrorists in the Northeast. While there, I ensured that I always paid my tithes. I never allowed the peril we faced to discourage me from paying my tithe. In one of the operations, we came under the enemies’ heavy attack that made us lose some soldiers, while others were injured. Although a bullet that was shot directly at me hit me, but it pierced through my left and hit my immediate colleague and he died instantly. I could have been the victim, but God shielded me from the tragedy. I thank God for saving me. Praise the Lord.

Secondly, as time went on, I was accused of a crime I didn’t commit. I was pulled from the battlefront and sentenced to death. But after prayers from some members of this church and my mother, the case was reviewed. While I was in detention, I kept praying and as a Chosen, I was singled out and the case was reviewed. It was a fact that I did not commit the crime I was accused of. Lo and behold, even when I was in detention, I met with the commander. I appealed to him and said, “Sir, I can’t serve Nigeria and end up this way. I need to enrol in school.” The commander looked at me and asked, ‘who are you?’ I said I am a Chosen and he laughed and said, “in detention, no one goes to school.” But after some time, the commander sent for me and asked again, “who do you say you are?” I said I am a Chosen; I am a peculiar person. Lo and behold, he called the Welfare officer and asked him to contact the prison fellowship ministry, so that I could go to school. I was given admission into the university eventually. When the admission came, it was with a scholarship. So, presently, I am in my final year studying political science. I got freed last week Tuesday (August 17, 2021). I give God the glory for all He has done. May His name be lifted high and exalted now and forevermore in Jesus name.

I pray for our General Pastor and his entire family heaven at last. All the Chosen pastors, leaders, workers and members worldwide, heaven at last in Jesus name.
Praise the Lord!

Brother Temple.
