It is time to do his will – Part 3

Deut. 28:11-13 states, “And the Lord shall make thee plenteous in goods, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy ground, in the land which the Lord sware unto thy fathers to give thee.

The Lord shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow. And the Lord shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the Lord thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them:”

The above promises are established as a covenant for those who observe God’s will and do them. If we do the will of God, we shall be blessed, but we are cursed if we refused to do His will. It is His delight to bless us, but if we refused to do His will, we shall incur His wrath.

The blessing is promised, upon the condition that we shall diligently hearken to His voice and do His will. If you want to be blessed and enjoy your life in this world and thereafter, you must be willing to do His will.

Matthew 6:33 “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”

His Kingdom and righteousness is doing His will. If you go on to do His will, honestly, you shall be blessed, you shall live a happy and joyful life. Everyone that did the will of God in the Bible days prospered. The Scripture says that Abraham obeyed God and became blessed.

Genesis 24:1 “And Abraham was old, and well stricken in age: and the Lord had blessed Abraham in all things.”

Abraham was blessed in all things, and if you can do the will of God, you shall be blessed, honoured and have dominion. Today Abraham is in the Father’s bosom, so also anyone who does the will of God. So, let nobody say he can disobey God and prosper.

1Peter 2:9 “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:”

As He had called us to be a Chosen generation, we must no longer do anything that is not His will, but should endeavour to do His will according to the Bible. I want you to know that everything that is happening to you is as a result of your limitation in doing the will of God. You can be in charge of the wealth of this world if you decide to do the will of God. The spirit of God in you has the power to make you rich but must not be provoked.

As long as you have the spirit of God inside you, you have all things. So, don’t limit yourself by not doing the will of God. A child of God is not limited, except when he is not doing the will of God.

1Corinth 3:21-23 “Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours; Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours; And ye are Christ’s; and Christ is God’s.”

If all things are yours what else will you be lacking? The problem you have is the inability to take what belongs to you through doing the will of God.

The Bible made us to understand that those who know their God shall be strong and do exploit. If money is your problem, I want you to understand that, when you do the will of God money will be running after you.

Let us begin to do His will in marriage, business, in our relationship with one another, and wherever we may find ourselves and we shall be blessed and prospered in Jesus name.
