Love – the higher way to victory. In the book of Romans, Paul declares: “Love never fails” and it doesn’t. Love has the capacity to reach and break barriers, to transform and heal lives.

“Love will find a way, everything else will find an excuse” – John Mason.
Love is very practical and would find ways to offer or express itself. One of the reasons the world has become chaotic and frustrating for so many people is as a result of this missing ingredient called love. Your life’s purpose should be driven by love. When that happens, you will find that you will develop an unconditional love for your life and for what God has called you to do. Notable men and women have been able to attain heights of great achievement, while thinking of ways to make another life better. This kind of passion is driven by unconditional love, which neither seeks rewards nor clamours for recognition. Rather, it only seeks to pour itself out in being a blessing to others.

The world recognises different kinds of love but the love I refer to here is God’s love.
God’s love helps us overcome selfishness, which is a disease of the mind and at the root of many broken relationships. It makes us focused on helping other people and being a blessing to them.

Walking in this kind of love gives you a new perspective to life. It energises your life and you lose the fear of failure, the fear of what people would think, etc. You become untouchable for “perfect love casts out fear.” I urge you to allow the love of God find expression within you.

The world is full of news of economic crises and cultural breakdown, and it seems we have every reason to fear, but you can live in the assurance and peace of God’s love. The security and economic measures we see are not really adequate.

It’s time to discover perfect peace in God’s love and surrender to His unconditional love. Love never fails….

“…If I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing” -1 Corinthians 13:1-3 NIV. I am awed by the fact that a man could accomplish so much (financially, economically, politically, etc.) as outlined but without love; it counts for nothing before God. Having a vision, sowing financially, having all faith are good things, but these things cannot bring in the full harvest, unless they are done in love.

What is love? It is expressed through our motives and desires to treat others the way we want to be treated. May God’s unconditional love stimulate genuine love in us, so that our lives can have long lasting impact!
