Isaiah 41:17 “when the poor and needy seek water and there is none and their tongue faileth for thirst; i the lord will hear them, i the god of israel will not forsake them.”

Most times, it is difficult to get the help we need from our interpersonal relationships. as a result of the global economic spasm, every human being concentrates on solving his/her own problems. man by nature is selfish and self-centred. the question is, where can we find help in our times of need or who will volunteer to help us? even at that, the scripture declares that vain is the help of man. human help is limited, restrictive and may not go far; because of the enormous responsibility that god places on men and women of prophetic destiny. There will come a time where human help will not suffice. there will always come a time where human beings will not have the capacity to help because of the impact of what god wants to do in our lives.

God alone wants to take credit for what he is doing in our lives and as such, will not allow any arm of the flesh to brag or take responsibility about what god is doing in our lives. Are you there today where it appears that help is not coming from where you anticipated? the one who is faithful and absolutely trustworthy has made an irrevocable commitment to help us when hope is hopeless. It is powerful to know that real help does not come from the creature but from the maker of heaven and earth. king david asked the fundamental question in psalm 121: 1-2 “i will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help? my help cometh from the lord, which made heaven and earth.”

Today, take your eyes of men and fix your eyes on god. god must be the source of your help. true and meaningful help comes from god. god’s help is super. it transcends all human abilities. psalm 34:8 “o taste and see that the lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him” no matter your bill, jehovah jireh – the lord himself is the one who can pay. god’s provision is overwhelming. god commits to help us when no one comes to help. isaiah 45:22 “look unto me and be ye saved; all the ends of the earth: for i am god and there is none else.”

As you look in the right direction – god – you will get the right attention. as you look to the lord in faith, you will never be stranded. isaiah 41:10 and 13 “fear thou not, for i am with thee: be not dismayed, for i am thy god. i will strengthen thee; yea, i will help thee; yea, i will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness; for i the lord thy god will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, fear not, i will help thee.”

Prayer: father god, i abandon myself to you. i need your help. i ask for supernatural help in my life in jesus mighty name. i trust in you. i lean on you in jesus name. thank you lord for helping me.
