If you do not know how something looks like, you cannot imagine its beauty, and thus cannot desire it. So, it is with heaven. If one doesn’t have an inkling of heaven, he or she cannot desire it. Many people who don’t have idea of heaven find it difficult to even believe God or aspire to be there. That heaven is not visible to our natural eyes does not deny the fact that it exists. Heaven is the most beautiful place in existence and it is incomparable to any place, whether natural or spiritual. As it was in the beginning, so it is now and ever shall remain. It does not expire, neither does it fade away. It is invisible to us now because we are still in the flesh. God Almighty, Who is the quintessence of wisdom and knowledge, designed Heaven. And if God designed and built heaven, then, it can never be compared to any throne on earth or anything man has built.

Heaven is the abode of the sovereign God, and He is the King, the Creator and Maker of all things. He is the Almighty God, the King of glory, King of kings, the Lord of lords, the Alpha and Omega, the Bright and the Morning Star, the Beginning and the End. He created the heaven by Himself and place it above all things forever. Everything we can see with our eyes today will vanish, including our body. Anything that you see with your eyes will vanish, but I want to let you know that the kingdom of heaven we are talking about, which God has made, is an everlasting one and cannot be removed.

Heb. 12:28 says: “Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear.”

Paul the Apostle, in his efforts to exalt the kingdom of Heaven, gave splendid narration of the power and influence of the place and concluded that it is a Kingdom that is firm and stable and cannot be shaken. He exhorted believers to seek after the kingdom that is permanent and unchanging. A kingdom no power can destroy. This is the only kingdom where we can be certain that there will be no revolution; the only empire, which is destined never to fall. There is no danger of its being overthrown. It is to continue to the end of time. If it is temporary, changeable, liable to being overthrown at any moment, then there would be much less encouragement for believers to persevere. But in the kingdom of heaven, there is every encouragement, for there is the assurance that all our interests there are safe, that all our exertions will be crowned with ultimate success and that the efforts, which we make to do good, will have a permanent influence on mankind, and will bless future ages and that the reward is certain.

In a government where nothing is settled, where all policy is changing, and where there are constantly vacillating plans, there is no inducement to enter into any endeavour. But where the policy is settled; where the principles and the laws are firm; where there is evidence of permanency, there is the highest encouragement. This was the essence of Apostle Paul’s sermon to the Hebrews. The highest possible encouragement of mankind is in the permanent and established kingdom of heaven established by God. While other kingdoms could be revolutionised, this never will be, while others may have a changeful policy, this has none, and while others could be overthrown, the Kingdom of heaven will never be overthrown.

Angel Lucifer tried and fought to overthrow it and was thrown out to the world – to the bottomless pit to suffer forever. No man or demon, no matter the weapons of war he has can destroy it. Nuclear weapon can destroy earthly cites and nations, but nothing can penetrate heaven. Devil cannot approach heaven because the glory of heaven will just throw him away. Nothing can destroy heaven from eternity to eternity.
