We, therefore, recommend that you put in place a system to ensure that members of your congregation know who they are, so that the “church” does not struggle for relevance, when Christ will present those whom God gave to Him in the last day. Listen to Jesus in John 6:37-40,“And this is the will of God, that I should not lose even one of all those He has given me, but that I should raise them up at the last day…” Every congregation, by the help of the Holy Spirit, must prepare members for the Kingdom because the Church is first of all, the body of Christ.

The Church is also a vessel that is carrying people, like Noah’s ark to safety out of this terrible world, where Satan’s illegal presence has made things horrible, to the kingdom of God.

Those members that will not make the Church to struggle for relevance must own up, and obey the instruction that Christ gave to us in John 14:15, that says, “If you love Me, keep my commandments” and to them the Father will be revealed. At the stage of obedience, the Father will be revealed. Obedience and subsequent revelation will result in greater works, thus making the church stand on its feet. Jesus Christ said it was the Father that dwells in Him that did the works that He did while on earth. He further promised that, if we would love Him and keep His commandments, the “Father and Himself” would make their abode in us.

What this means is that the Father and the Son dwelling in us will do all the required works and “even greater works shall he do.” A church in poverty and not operating under open heaven will certainly struggle for relevance and might forget that the gates of hell are a potent force that must not be taken for granted.

This underscores the reason we posited earlier, that such men must be those with capacity and potential to withstand the fiery darts of the devil, and who as well should allow Christ to grow and be magnified in them, so that the subsequent impartation of His Spirit will not be denied. These kind of members are required in our congregations today, to build up the Church for which Christ died.

These men must be individual temples in which the Holy Spirit should dwell. The basic principle of salvation must be expounded that it becomes part of them, and they also would be able to let others drink from the fountain that would then be flowing in them. In the first part of this series, we noted that, “those who walk worthy of God are:
• Called into fellowship of His Son Jesus Christ, our Lord (1 Cor. 1:9). Are you called?
• Men, we emphasised, must follow in His step (1 Peter 2:21) Are you following in His steps?
• Become united into one body (Col 3:15); To whom are you connected, your General Overseer or Bishop?
• These brethren must have come out of darkness into His marvelous light (1 Peter 2:9) and
• Must operate in His glory and virtue (2 Peter 1:3; Eph. 4:1; 1Thess. 4:7; 1 Tim 6:12; Heb. 3:1.) If Jesus is not your frequency; you cannot be a block in this building.

The emphasis here is actually on intense discipleship in the Church (the various congregations) where members should be made to be apprentices under the feet of the Master to enable them fit into the grand design/plan of heaven for the CHURCH.
