Contrary to speculations in some quarters that 2017 will be a tough year, the General Overseer of the Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries, Pastor Lazarus Muoka, has said that 2017 is a year of dominion, blessings and honour.

He stated this at the just concluded two-day programme of the church with the theme: “Hope for the Needy,” which held at the headquarters church in Ijesha, Lagos.

Speaking to thousands of worshippers, the cleric reiterated that divorce is a sin and that God hates it because marriage is for better or worse till death.

According to him, what God has joined together, no man should put asunder. He urged the congregation to do away with sin and embrace Jesus Christ who has the remedy to forgive sin.

In his words: “No man has the remedy for sin, only Jesus Christ, that is why He is the hope for the needy. The God that intervened for the people in the wilderness would intervene for us in this era. God is still saving sinners, He did it in the past and He is still in the business.

“A Christian is not a sinner and a sinner is not a Christian. Men who beat their wives commit sin and when an employee refuses to do his job, it is a sin. We need to get rid of sin; it hinders answers to all prayers.”He assured worshippers that God would meet their needs as long as they obey Him.
