During the recent Harvest Thanksgiving celebration of CHRIST Church of Grace Church, Ojo, founder of the church, Prophet Cornelius Adetunbi, urged Nigerians, irrespective of their faith, to turn to God. He said present difficulties the country is passing through was caused by citizens, because they refused to obey God.

He said: “The Lord revealed to me that Nigerians should return to Him in repentance and renounce our sins. Nigerians should put God first in their daily activities, because with Him all things are possible. Government should seek the wisdom of God for the nation’s benefit and listen to men of God for directions.

“To fake prophets, who are only after money, God has warned that they should repent, but if they don’t, they will face His wrath. The Lord has also warned that the Federal Government should start paying salary to people aged 50 years and above. It was revealed to me that, if this is done, there would be no more disaster in Nigeria, and peace will return to the country.”

Speaking on 2019 election, the cleric disclosed that President Muhammadu Buhari will go for second term, but he would need to obey God’s voice.

Saying that the country is blessed with abundant natural resources, Adetunbi urged President Buhari to give scholarship to every Nigerian child from primary school to tertiary institution to reduce burden of school fees on parents.
