The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, will today hold a special interactive session with members of the public partnering with the church in Abuja. The programme tagged: “A Day Out with the God of Daddy G.O” is a yearly event held in three major cities of Nigeria: Abuja, Lagos and Port Harcourt.

Chairman, Central Working Committee of the 2016 edition of the programme in Abuja, Pastor Dele Babade, said this year’s event is unique, as it will afford participants the opportunity to prayerfully address some challenges facing Nigeria. He said the current economic situation of the country would become history, if Christians could pray more and offer moral support to the present administration.

Organised by RCCG Region 10, Abuja Family and led by Pastor Emmanuel Ibitayo, the Pastor-in-Charge of RCCG, Region 10, according to Pastor Babade, attendance is open to all old and new partners of the ministry.

He noted that high-ranking officials of the federal government, including the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo are expected to grace the event.

The ‘Day-Out with the God of G.O’ programme, according to him, is organised mid-year to raise awareness and support for the flagship yearly Holy Ghost Congress of RCCG, held in December every year at the Redemption Camp, Ogun State. The Congress is a weeklong international event often regarded as the largest religious gathering in the world with over 180 countries participating and which also promotes religious tourism. The 2016 Congress will take place at the church’s ultra modern auditorium, believed to be the largest Christian in the world located at the Redemption Camp, Ogun State.
