“FOR unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:6

THE Prince Of Peace is the number five titles of Jesus Christ.  This means everything about Jesus is PEACE unlimited.

What is peace?

It is Eirene in Greek meaning inner peace, peace with people, peace with God. Inner peace – the peaceful state of a soul

Peace with people – harmony between individuals; national peace; exemption from war

Peace with God – the way that leads to peace (salvation).

The word peace is mentioned more than 400 times in the Scripture, and it generally refers to harmony with self, others, and most importantly, God.

Jesus said, “Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful” John 14:27.

Jesus Christ is the only source of true and permanent peace.

These things I have spoken to you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world you shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. John 16:33

Jesus is with you. “Now it happened, on a certain day that He got into a boat with His disciples. And He said to them, “Let us cross over to the other side of the lake.” And they launched out.” Luke 8:22

As Christians on the journey of life, be rest assured that Jesus is with you. That problem may seem big.  You will come out of it victoriously.

Storms will come and when there is one, Jesus knows how to calm the storm and replace it with peace. “But as they sailed He fell asleep. And a windstorm came down on the lake, and they were filling with water, and were in jeopardy.” Luke 8:23 “And a great windstorm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so that it was already filling.” Mark 4:37.

You need to realise that storms will come – they are inevitable! However, if you have Jesus in the boat of your life, you can have peace in those storms.

God bless.
