Herdsmen killings: Solution is unity among christians
The General Overseer of Christ Fire World Evangelism Ministries, Igbe, Ikorodu, Dr. Israel Owonibi has called on Christians to unite together and speak with one voice against killings of fellow Christians.
Speaking during a church programme titled: “My year of testimonies” to mark his birthday anniversary, the General Overseer noted that over 600 people were killed recently within a week in Plateau and other places.
The cleric is of the view that if nothing is done to stop the killings there would be no more Christians in the North.
“People were killed like fowl and our leaders in high places are quiet.
This country is being controlled by principalities and powers in high places. They are the owners of the earthly keys.
“Remember how devil wanted to deceive Jesus so that the kingdom key would be collected from Him but to God be the glory, Jesus dealt with the devil and collected both the earthly and the heavenly keys.
That is why we are celebrating today. We are celebrating the Christ in me and the Christ in the world,” he said.
Owonibi regretted that many pastors and general overseers have lost their kingdom key.
That is why they are not saying anything against the killings of Christians in the North.
