God has put you in charge – Exercise authority

“Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you”. Jeremiah 1:10 “See, I have this day set thee over the nations and OVER THE KINGDOMS, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant,” Luke 10:19.

Right away from the creation of man, God entrusted man with dominion authority. We are God’s DEPUTIES created in the image and likeness of God. (Psalm 8:5). We occupy a position that is higher and greater. Man was told to exercise dominion, subdue the earth and replenish it. Man was never asked to be an onlooker. It is amazing, some of us believers want God to do everything without our inputs. A lady was praying the other day, asking God to please take the devil away.

But the Scripture is very clear about the roles of mankind on earth. Jeremiah 1:10 “See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant”. Jesus had given us delegated authority and power of attorney to act with authority in every sphere of our existence.

We are God’s legislative and enforcement agents. We are Christ’s ambassadors plenipotentiary on earth and we must enforce the Will of God on earth as it is in Heaven. Mark 16:15-17 “And He said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In My name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues”. We have the mandate of Heaven to cast out demons and stop their operations wherever we live, work or operate.

In James 4:7 (“Submit yourselves therefore to God. RESIST THE DEVIL AND HE WILL FLEE FROM YOU”) we are told to submit ourselves to God, resist the devil and he will flee. Satan has no defence as our authority through the BLOOD OF JESUS, the NAME OF JESUS and the POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT cannot be resisted or extinguished. JESUS HIMSELF declared in Matthew 28:18 “And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, ALL POWER is given unto me in HEAVEN AND IN EARTH”.

Today, the Omnipotence power of our LORD Jesus is at our disposal to carry out the Will of God on earth and in our lives. The enemy will continue to run riot if you do not take authority. Having conferred on us impregnable and irresistible authority, we are responsible for what happens in our domain. We are to use God’s authority and power in the Name of JESUS to stop the nefarious activities of the wicked one everywhere.

Isaiah 49:25 “But thus saith the LORD, Even the CAPTIVES OF THE MIGHTY shall be taken away, and the PREY OF THE TERRIBLE shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children”. God has assured that whatever the “mighty and terrible” (satan and his cohorts) held captive as a prey, will surely be delivered and taken away. Release the absolute authority of JESUS Name against the activities of the wicked one.

You are never powerless, hopeless or hapless. Just like David, release the NAME OF THE LORD against your Goliath. 1 Samuel 17:45-46 ” Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the LORD of Hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied; This day will the LORD deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; and
I will give the carcasses of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel”. When you keep quiet, circumstances will remain the same.

You have the inalienable rights to bind and loose on earth. Matthew 15:13 “But He answered and said, every plant, which My Heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up”. It is time to take and exercise authority.
