Don’t be deceived by the enemy (Satan), who is always scheming to make people created in the image of God disobey Him. He is especially interested in those who have chosen to love and serve God eternally.

The word of God is clear enough on issues about believers’ life in Christ. Lots of people believed that as long as they are obedient to God’s word and walking in His will for their lives, they are free from challenges of life. Humanly speaking, it is a natural way to think.

However, it is not true in the light of God’s word because:
• We live in an imperfect world, as Satan and his cohorts are here, causing troubles through vulnerable people.
• Life itself is a temporary place, laced with different challenges.
• Challenges are forerunner of breakthrough, because God work through them.

On the other hand, whosoever decides to live for God in this wicked world automatically becomes Satan’s number one enemy. He will do all he can to frustrate and discourage you from serving God unconditionally, walk in His will for your life or even trust Him. You must know this truth and guard your heart, because it has the capacity to set you free, when devil comes with his lies. This will help you remain steadfast in faith and God’s word.

Irrespective of the challenges we may face in God’s will or as we obey, is an opportunity to know God more. This is because He will ultimately prove and glorify Himself in our lives through such situations.

I shall, through this medium, open few catalogue of such events in the Bible for you to know that you are not the first, in God’s will facing challenges. I do tell people that we met challenges in the world. Challenges will come and will pass away. Adam and Eve were in the Garden God made for them, yet the enemy located and floored them. Unfortunately, the whole scenario cost Adam and Eve their relationship with God and the beautiful Garden.

Abraham is a patriarch we can learn from, regarding the above subject. God called him out with certain instructions. “Now the LORD said to Abram, “Go forth from your country, And from your relatives And from your father’s house, To the land which I will show you; And I will make you a great nation, And I will bless you, And make your name great; And so you shall be a blessing; And I will bless those who bless you, And the one who curses you I will curse. And in you all the families of the earth will be blessed.” So Abram went forth as the LORD had spoken to him; and Lot went with him. Now Abram was seventy-five years old when he departed from Haran. Abram took Sarai his wife and Lot his nephew, and all their possessions, which they had accumulated, and the persons, which they had acquired in Haran, and they set out for the land of Canaan; thus they came to the land of Canaan. Gen. 12:1-5.
