We thank Almighty Father, the Giver of life, for sustaining us throughout the years. There is something hidden to people and it’s very serious, deserving all attention. People value their children, material things, such as cars, houses, etc., but they don’t value when those things won’t be seen again.

However, what people are meant to value have been neglected, as such don’t want to be heard of. Pastors who know much about it don’t preach it, so that people could understand. In fact, many people don’t want it discussed, but it’s the reality. It’s called “DEATH.”

What is death? Death means an act of dying or being killed; the end of a person’s life. Life is the state of being alive as a human being, the qualities, events, and experiences of human existence. As it’s written in the Bible, Hebrews 9:27 “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.” If the Bible mentioned that it’s appointed; it’s so, it cannot be changed; it’s non-negotiable. The only situation in which one would not regret or cry in death, is in John 5:24 “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.” This Bible verse explains that death is not the end, if you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour and follow His word. On earth, you have life, but after death, you will have everlasting life.

If you look at Ordinary life and Everlasting life, which one are you ought to be more conscious of? Everlasting means continuous or lasting forever, eternity. This is what Jesus wants for you. Jesus doesn’t want you to only have life, but everlasting life as well. You must abandon sins and follow Jesus’ footsteps. Do not hide under your Pastor or religion. That’s why Jesus went to the cross, so we could have everlasting life after death, so we could conquer death, and not death conquering us.

But today, people don’t seek Jesus to give life, but for material things, which will come to an end one day. But I plead that you should seek the Jesus that gives everlasting life. Now that the Bible mentions judgment after death, we must endeavour to overcome judgment. Judgment is without mercy. No matter who you are on earth, even if you are a Pastor; there’s judgment after death.

The Judgment am talking about cannot be bought with money. It has no regards for anybody. It’s whatsoever you do, that you will be judged for. Nobody will lie against you on judgment day. Everything you did in your lifetime will be played out before you. Jesus doesn’t want anyone to go into judgment, that’s why He came to die on the cross.

The only way to overcome judgment is to follow Jesus’ footsteps, and not your Pastor’s footsteps, that of your church’s constitution nor the footstep of your role model. You don’t need any human being as a role model. Let Jesus be your role model.

If you accept Jesus Christ, His footsteps won’t lead you to judgment. His footsteps are His words. Don’t let anyone deceive you that after confessing Jesus, your sins are forgiven. That’s true, but after this, everything you do shall be used to judge you. If you don’t follow the words and teachings of Jesus Christ, you should expect Judgment after death. Jesus remains the way, the truth and the life.
