Cleric predicts defeat of ruling party, economic revival, others

The General Overseer of God Pentecostal Mission Churches (GPM), Worldwide, Archbishop John Obiokeke has predicted the defeat of the ruling All Progressive Congress at the centre in the 2019 general elections.

At the church premises in Iba, Lagos, the Bishop said APC wouldn’t want to leave power when defeated, which will lead to a defacto change in government.

According to the prediction, Obiokeke said Buhari is meant to rule for only one term, as after that, it won’t be easy for him to return to power again.

He also warned the People Democratic Party (PDP) against fielding a young man as its presidential candidate, saying the party should go for an elderly person.

He said: “In Nigeria, there will be collapse of tall buildings in Abuja and Lagos. A church building will collapse again in Nigeria this year, 2018 and there will be tribal war in Taraba State.

“This year, there will be terrible flood during the rainy season. Parents should guard their wards because the flood will carry away children, especially in the northern and western regions, including Benue. The worst hit will be Rivers State.”

The General Overseer also predicted economic boom in the country, saying, “God said the country’s name will become great again. Oil will be discovered in this country where there was no oil before, as well as and also in another African country.”

He also predicted major disasters such as desert encroachment in the northern part of Nigeria, death of politicians, traditional leaders and accidents involving a serving minister’s convoy, as well as death of former ministers, head of states and governors.
Internationally, he predicted an earthquake in America and hurricane in North Atlantic in 2018.

He also said three Arab countries will lose their kings to death this year, while God said that He will defeat all those ganging up against Israel because of Jerusalem. The cleric predicted the fall of China in 2018, an earthquake in some parts of Japan and landslide in Germany.

“Earthquake and flood will visit India this year and a lot of houses will be flushed away. Philistines, Arab countries and those of them in the Middle East will join hands to fight Israel, but they will all fail. There will be eclipse of the moon this year and one president in a particular part of the world that has been displaying power will fall sick and will not be able to get up again.

“North Korea will have the worst problem ever this year. Egypt will have a lot of problems this year. Their government will be challenged from the east, west, north and south,” he predicted.
