President, Christian Without Borders, Kunle Jinadu, has stressed the need for Christian leaders to unite and fight the devil, as the common enemy.

Making the call at the maiden edition of Discovery of Truth Conference with the theme: “What is Truth?” at Ogun State Recreation and Social Development Centre, Ota, Ogun State, recently, Jinadu said instead of every church claiming superiority, thereby condemning other churches that do not follow their method, a common ground should be found in the Bible, which has the final say on every issue.

He said Christian Without Borders’ mission is to promote unity of faith among Christians everywhere.

“Our aim is to free people from the shackles of ignorance and help those with potentials release them for God’s use. We are not a church. Our vision is to offer hope to all in Christ anywhere in the world, and shine as the undiluted gospel light to the lost.
“This is not a conventional church. We will be organising seminars. This is a small beginning. In the next few months, there would be a book launch. We will spread our nets wider. We are going further to invite more churches and as we had the presence of representatives of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) to herald the inaugural conference of the organisation, we are going beyond national to international. There will be more conferences and we are going to make more interactions with men of God everywhere. The goal is to promote unity among the brethren,” he said.

The president who said God has been speaking to him for over 10 years now, said: “God spoke to me at different times, but I did not get the clear direction on how to go about it until late last year.

“I was directed to have a platform called ‘Christian without borders,’ where men of God from different denominations would speak on different topics that would help believers generally.

“Unity of the Church becomes very paramount, hence Jesus prayed for the Church to be one…” he said.

One of the guest speakers, General Overseer, Shinning Light Family Church, Pastor Bunmi Idowu, commended the organisation for coming up with such an important programme that addresses unity in Christendom.

Said he: “We have so many denominations, but the “Truth is Constant” and Jesus Christ Himself is the Truth. This is the unifying factor in Christendom.”

Another Guest Speaker, Regional Overseer, Foursquare Gospel Church, Sango-Ota, Rev. Ayomide Ibrahim said: “We need to embrace Jesus Christ, as the Truth and take away denominational boundaries among us so that we can be united to fight the devil, who is inspiring terror all over the world today.”

The Chairman, Christians Association of Nigeria, CAN, Ado-Odo Ota Local Government, Venerable Archdeacon B.B. Fawole said CAN would support the organisation.
