Females steal show at McPherson Convocation
It was a day of joy and great accomplishment for the six graduating female students of McPherson University, Seriki Sotayo, Ogun State, who came out with first class degrees out of the eight first class recorded by the institution.
Vice Chancellor of the institution, Prof. Adeniyi Agunbiade, who spoke shortly after the presentation of certificates and prizes to about 40 graduating students of the university, challenged the menfolk to rise and reclaim their rightful position.
According to his breakdown, Sholola Temiloluwa Adunola of the Department of Accounting and Finance emerged the best graduating student with a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 4.81, while Enyabine Chinenye Joy of Computer Science emerged the second best with a CGPA of 4.79.
