Fellowship at the highest level – Part 2

Key Verse: 1 John 1:1, “That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, concerning the Word of life.” (NKJV)

Text: 1 John 1:1-10

Fellowship at the highest level is fellowship with the triune God, with the Holy God, with the righteous God and with God Who is love. In our fellowship with God, these attributes of God are made manifest, they rub off on us and we are so blessed. We cannot keep these blessings we received to ourselves alone, and Paul said we declare these spiritual blessings, which we have received to you so that you can partake of them.

This is the message that we received and are proclaiming to you today. God is Light and in our God, there is no darkness at all. The Light is always separated from the darkness wherever you go. In John 8:12, Jesus said I am the light of the world and he who follows Me shall not walk in darkness but shall have the light of life. In John 1:4, the Bible said in Him was life, and that life was the light of men. Every child of God reflects the light of Christ and has nothing to do with the unfruitful works of darkness (Ephesians 5).

Our fellowship is with God and God is Light. In God, there will be no murder, ritual killings, rape and all this wickedness we read all over the world, and Nigeria is not excluded. All these things are not in our God, and that is why we have the boldness to preach the name of Jesus all over the world because it is only Jesus that set people free from every work of wickedness that the devil has afflicted the whole world with today. Come into our fellowship, our God is Light and we are children of light and not of darkness.

Why remain in fellowship that destroys your life and soul? Why remain in fellowship that makes you a tool in the hands of the devil? Why remain in fellowship that leaves you at the mercy of wickedness and all types of abominations? Why remain in fellowship that makes you carry a gun to shed human blood and robbing people of their properties? Why remain in fellowship that gives you no hope for today and for eternity? These are lesser levels of fellowships.

Every day, we hear and read horrible things and nations all over the world continue to promulgate laws against every satanic lifestyle. Laws are not made against the children of light, because societies are looking for people who will live right, who will live upright, who will walk in holiness, who will walk in truth, justice, fairness and equity. Such people are available only as they come to the Light.

If you claim to have fellowship with God but walk in darkness, you are a liar and not practising the truth. Jesus said by their fruits you shall know them (Mathew 7:16). All the evil that goes on anywhere and everywhere are not the works of the children of light. Bible said a good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit (Mathew 7:18). Every evil thing under the sun, no matter who does it, is perpetrated by children of darkness.

Come over to Jesus side and enter into fellowship at the highest level. We have a better fellowship, we have the best fellowship, we have the highest fellowship that any human being can be involved in today and that fellowship is with God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Today’s Nugget: We have the highest fellowship.
