HelpGate Foundation To Empower Vulnerable Youths
HELPGATE Foundation for Youth Rehabilitation and Reintegration, a registered not-for-profit organization, recently held its official launch at No. 71, Itire Road, Surulere, Lagos.
The ceremony was attended by over 100 participants, which included dignitaries, beneficiaries and special guests from Lagos and its environs.
Also present were His Royal Majesty, Oba Abayomi Dawodu, the Onitire of Itire, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Pastor Brown Oyitso, representative of Surulere Police Station and other board members.
The Founder/Chief Executive Officer, Pastor (Mrs.) Temitope Emovon, in her speech, said the foundation wants to give vulnerable youths impetus to live productive, responsible, drug free and vice-free lives through its restoration, counselling, education, feeding, rehabilitation, lodging, entrepreneurial training and empowerment programmes.
She enjoined all stakeholders to make this a reality through sponsorship, donation, collaboration and partnership with the organisation. The ceremony featured testimonies from beneficiaries, ending with a closing remark by Pastor Amos Emovon, who appreciated those that have supported the initiative.
