Rotary Ogudu-GRA Donates Sick Bay To Secondary School
As part of its outlined projects for the 2015/2016 Rotary year, the Rotary Club of Ogudu-GRA has donated a sick bay to Ojota Senior Secondary School in Lagos.
Speaking on the projects, the Club’s President, Rotarian Fidel Ogwuazor stated that the sick bay project was conceptualized during a needs assessment visit paid to the school at the end of the immediate past Rotary year in line with the club’s tradition of paying attention to the expectations of beneficiaries while planning for them.
She further disclosed that Ogudu-GRA rotary is also sponsoring two children of Little Saints Orphanage as parts of its projects for the same calendar year. “The two children at the orphanage have become a yearly occurrence on the club’s programme of action since the club took responsibility for their upkeep over 8 years ago, She added.
Commissioning the project, the district Governor, Rotarian Bola Onabadejo disclosed that the sick bay was also equipped with necessary medical tools and drugs required to make it functional.
Onabadejo however commended the President and members of the club for their efforts in implementing such a laudable project, which according to him will in no doubt affect the lives of the students positively.
