IGP Queens win FCT Angels, as Benue beat Coal City 73 – 39

Customs, IGP Queens led teams that recorded victory yesterday at the ongoing Zenith Bank Women Basketball League as favorites, Dolphins and First Bank Basketball Club were exempted from the fixture.

While both teams will return to the court today, Customs defeated Zamfara Babes 94-58, IGP Queens defeated FCT Angels 65-32, while First Deepwater defeated Immigration 43-32. In other games played, Benue Princess beat Coal City Queens 73-39 while Oluyole Babes lost to Delta Queens 28-37 in a low scoring game.

Meanwhile, Nine-times champions of the Zenith Bank National Women Basket Ball league, Elephants Girls of Lagos and the reigning Champions, Dolphins also of  Lagos won big at two of the 8 games played  at the weekend at the ongoing Basketball league which dunk off Saturday in Abuja.
