Woods places nature high in retirement plans

Tiger Woods seems pretty excited for retirement, however far off that may be, reports the New York Post. The 43-year-old golfer, calling in to Australia’s “Triple M’s Hot Breakfast” on Tuesday, let loose while chatting about what his post-golf life will hold.

“For me, it’ll be simple,” he said. “I love spearfishing. I love being in the water. I love hunting. I like going on hunting trips, fishing trips and diving trips, so to me, just being out in nature is the f–king ultimate best.

“I don’t like being around a lot of people in that regard. I like to be out in nature because that’s what I grew up, that’s what I do, golf is always out in nature, so for me, that’s the ultimate best.”

The unexpected cuss drew smirks from hosts Luke Darcy and Wil Anderson, who got a seemingly breezy version of Woods. The 10-minute chat also gave some insight into just how long the 82-time PGA Tour winner plans to keep playing.

“I think the golden carrot of getting out there when I’m 50 is getting a cart, right?” Woods said with a laugh.Woods will make the trek down under to the Royal Melbourne Golf Club in December, where he’ll captain and play for the US team in the Presidents Cup, seeking an eighth straight win over the International squad.
