The trio, Ifeanyi George, Christian Obiozor and Markson Ojobo contributed the Aba outfit goals, while the duo, Olufemi Oladapo and Dare Ojo scored the consolations for the home side.

Amanfor said the mood is joyous among his teammates with eight-unbeaten match record at Kwara United but insisted that the derby clash against Abia Warriors is occupying their 100 per cent attention. “Of course, we are happy extending our unbeaten record to eight with the 3-2 defeat of Kwara United.

“However, we are cutting short the celebration as our attention and focus have shifted to the Sunday clash against Abia Warriors in Aba. “We want to re-write history by going all out to revenge last season’s defeat as well as further push forward our unbeaten match campaign.
