18:44 – CRYSTAL PALACE AGREE DEAL FOR SAKHO

Liverpool and Crystal Palace have agreed a fee of £26 million for Mamadou Sakho, who will undergo a medical. The defender spent part of last season on loan at Palace before an injury forced his return to the Anfield.

The teenage superstar has joined PSG from AS Monaco on loan with the obligation to buy for £166m

Jadon Sancho has signed for Borussia DOrtmund from Manchester City. The youngster had not turned up for training severally after he was dropped from Manchester City’s tour of Asia. City blocked any move to rivals, ensuring any move was outside England.

14:59- ARSENAL READY TO SPLASH CASH FOR LEMAR

Arsenal’s new submitted bid of £95M for Lemar has been accepted by Monaco, but the player favours a move to Liverpool.


14:33 – STOKE RECORD SIGNING GOES OUT ON LOAN

Stoke City record signing, Giannelli Imbula has agreed to join Toulouse FC in the French League on loan until the end of the season. The French midfielder was bought from Porto for a record £18.3m in 2016.


14:20 – CHELSEA SET FOR ZAPPACOSTA DEAL

Chelsea are set to sign Davide Zappacosta from Torino for £23m plus bonuses.

The Italian right-back will provide cover for Victor Moses.

13:41- MARSEILLE SIGN MITROGLOU

Kostas Mitroglou has joined Marseille according to RMC. The €20m deal ends Mitroglou’s stay at Benfica.


13:29 – CITY WITH FRESH SANCHEZ BID

Manchester City have made a second bid for Alexis Sanchez around the region of £55m with no other players involved. Arsenal have also been handed a boost in their pursuit of Thomas Lemar as Monaco have softened their stance on letting the player go.


13:25 – MBAPPE TWIST

Reports have it that Monaco’s Kylian Mbappe transfer to PSG deal will be a full transfer and no longer a loan with an option to buy. PSG might need to sell a few players to balance the books. The deal will be a reported €135m and €45m in bonuses.

Liverpool have unveiled Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain as their latest signing. The winger passed his medical after a £40m (including add-ons) move was agreed with Arsenal. Arsenal had agreed an earlier deal with Chelsea but the England International turned down a move to the Stamford Bridge. Chamberlain joins Liverpool this summer on a reported £125,000 per week contract after he turned down the £180,000 per week contract extension Arsenal offered him. He joins Andrew Robertson and Mohammed Salah as Liverpool’s signing this summer.

11:49 – CALUM CHAMBERS TO STAY? 

Arsenal have rejected a £20m bid from Leicester City for Calum Chambers. The defender was also a subject of interest for Crystal Palace weeks ago but Arsenal turned down Palace’s bid.

Chelsea will make a third bid for Drinkwater worth up to £30m to convince Leicester to sell (Mirror)

10:46 – ARSENAL UPDATE

Arsenal are yet to receive a second bid from Manchester City for Alexis Sanchez. The Gunners already rejected a bid of  £50m earlier this week and are reportedly happy to keep Sanchez.

Skhodran Musafi will remain at the club despite links with Juventus and Inter Milan. However, Matthieu Debuchy, Lucas Perez and Joel Campell are players very likely to leave today.

“Until the deadline for transfers is closed, it’s difficult to elucidate Alexis’ future. But one way or another, his future will be great.

“In any of the possible options that are being handled, his future is very good. Then there is no reason for him to be dissatisfied or annoyed.

Riyad Mahrez checked into a London hotel last night after he was permitted to leave the Algerian national team camp to discuss with a ‘new’ club. We know Arsenal and Chelsea are interested in him.

The transfer deadline day is finally here.

Yesterday, Arsenal and Liverpool agreed a £40m fee for Oxlade Chamberlain, Grzegorz Krychowiak and Kieran Gibbs completed moves to West Bromwich Albion, Manchester City’s £50m for Alexis Sanchez was rejected and Chelsea resumed talks with Swansea for Fernando Llorente.

18:22- MANCHESTER CITY TO LOAN DEFENDER TO GALATASARAY

Jason Denayer is set to go on loan with Turkish side Galatasaray his preferred destination. The Belgian favoured a return to Galatasaray where he had a previous loan spell rather than Celtics where he also had a loan stint.


17:54- ARSENAL ACCEPT LIVERPOOL CHAMBERLAIN BID

Arsenal have accepted Liverpool’s £40m bid for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. The winger who turned down a £180,000 contract extension will be joining the Reds. Chamberlain featured as a right wing-back in Arsenal’s embarrassing 4-0 drubbing by Liverpool. The England International turned down a move to Chelsea after Arsenal had agreed a deal with Chelsea. The winger has been frustrated with his lack of playing opportunities and his stunted growth at the Emirates.

Chamberlain is set to sign a six-year deal at Liverpool and will likely have a medical tonight at the St George’s Park

17:39- CHAMBERLAIN TO ANFIELD DONE?

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain seems to have agreed a move to Liverpool from Arsenal according to his sports management company, Colossal Sports Management. The company tweeted that one of its client had a deal agreed to go to the Anfield.

The tweet read: “DEAL AGREED!!!! # LIVERPOOL # YNWA # COLOSSAL # LFC”

The tweet was deleted few minutes after it was posted. Thankfully, there’s a screengrab.


17:15- HULL CITY KEEN ON MUSA

Ahmed Musa could be set for a reunion with his former coach Leonid Slutsky at Hull City. The Nigerian forward has had a less than desirous stay at Leicester City and could be set to become a Tiger with talks ongoing for a season-long loan. Musa has scored only three goals in 23 Premier League appearances.

Musa played under Hull head coach Leonid Slutsky at CSKA Moscow.


16:47- SWANSEA TO BEAT LIVERPOOL TO RENATO SANCHES 

Renato Sanches could join Swansea on a loan deal from Bayern Munich. The Portuguese midfielder was linked with both Liverpool and Chelsea.


16:27- WILFRIED BONY IS CLOSE TO A SWANSEA RETURN FOR £13M

The out of favour forward could get a return to the familiar surrounding of The Liberty Stadium. After a poor loan spell at Stoke CIty last season, Manchester City are keen to off-load the Ivorian if Swansea meet their valuation of the striker.


16:08- SPURS COMPLETE FOYTH DEAL

Tottenham Hotspurs have completed the signing of highly rated Juan Foyth from Estudiantes. The 19-year old was signed for a reported £8m fee on a five-year deal.


16:02- KRYCHOWIAK TO JOIN PREMIER LEAGUE SIDE
Grzegorz Krychowiak has landed in the UK for a medical ahead of a proposed loan move from PSG. The former Sevilla midfielder who has been severally linked with Arsenal will be joining Tony Pulis’ West Bromwich Albion subject to the medical.


15:33- RAVEL MORRISON ON HIS WAY TO MEXICO

Former Manchester United youth player, Ravel Morrison is rumoured to be on a move to the Liga MX with Atlas Fútbol Club. The former West Ham and Lazio player has not justified the hype that once surrounded him, disappointing on several spells on loan.

AS Roma sporting director Monchi confirmed that  Patrik Schick will be their final signing of the transfer window.


14:55- WARIS TO REPLACE SAKHO

Ghanaian striker Majeed Waris has been linked to the Hammers after he stated he won’t play for Lorient anymore. Waris is currently in London.

 


14:31- NACER CHADLI STILL HOPING FOR SWANSEA MOVE

The West Bromwich Albion winger currently on international duty with the Belgium National team is still waiting for a move to Swansea to materialise after finding. The former Tottenham Hotspur player hopes a deal can be completed befor the transfer window closes.


14:25- CHAMBERLAIN UPDATE

Alex-Oxlade Chamberlain will be most certain to leave the Emirates after Arsenal told him he is no longer wanted at the club. The Gunners had agreed a £35m deal with Chelsea but the winger turned down a move to Stamford Bridge preferring a move to LIverpool. Arsenal turned down Liverpool’s £30m opening bid for the England International.


13:34- DIAFRA SAKHO CLOSE TO RENNES MOVE

Diafra Sakho has passed his Rennes medical after a £9m deal was agreed with West Ham. The forward scored in his first six Premier League matches for West Ham, could the Senegalese replicate such at France?


12:36- Serge Aurier could complete his €25m Tottenham Hotspur move in the next few hours.

Reports in France suggest the Right-back could join Spurs from Paris Saint Germain after issues for work permit seems to have been resolved.


11:48- OFFICIAL: KIERAN GIBBS SIGNS FOR WEST BROMWICH ALBION

Kieran Gibbs has completed a £7m move to West Bromwich Albion. The left-back signed a four-year deal to join the Hawthorns from Arsenal.

07:00 – IS ARSENE WENGER PLOTTING A MASSIVE CLEAR OUT? Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is allegedly plotting a massive summer clearance sales of his uncommitted players. Just the way you will want to  get rid of those unwanted shoes. Sounds about time? The Gunners have over 30 players on their roster. Shedding off dead weight would be healthy for the club, especially after that painful 4-0 drubbing away at Anfield last weekend.

Winger Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has reportedly turned down a chance to join EPL champions Chelsea despite the clubs agreeing to a £40 million deal.
