All is now set for the final phase of the Prudent Energy Handball competition, which is expected to begin on Wednesday at the Mobolaji Johnson Sport Complex, Rowe Park, Yaba.

The 22 teams are expected to arrive in Lagos for the final phase of the competition today.

Participating in the championship, which will feature men and women’s categories, are the Lagos Seasiders, COAS Shooters, Safety Shooters, De Defenders, Prison Key Boys, Niger United, Owena Kings, Kada Stars, Borno Spiders, Vipers of Plateau, Kano Pyramid and Sokoto Rima for the men’s cadre.

In the women’s class are Lagos Seasiders, Defenders Babes, Safety Babes, Edo Dynamos, Owena Queens, Imo Grasshoppers, Abia Valiant, Desert Queens of Katsina, Kada Queens and Peacocks of Plateau.

Niger United and Safety Babes of Abuja are currently topping the table in both categories of the championship with 150 explosive games expected to decide the eventual winners in the second and final phase of the 12-day championship.
