Defending champions, Team Offikwu of Kaduna are in Abuja to meet Team Ndoma-Egba in a potentially explosive tie that will determine which team from the White Group gets the first semifinal place.

Team Goshen, which is also heavily contending for a semifinal place from the group, will take on Team Tech Vibe of Jos at the Kwara Stadium in Ilorin, while the CBN Futures team will host Team Yetade of Ekiti at the National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos.

The matches, which started yesterday, will end today in all the three venues.

Team Offikwu is still without their star player, Sylvester Emmanuel, who is abroad playing on the professional circuit, but the it has enough fire power in former national champions, Shehu Lawal and Henry Atseye, as well as Morocco-based junior star, Oyin Quadri, to cope with the equally formidable Abuja-based team.

Team Ndoma-Egba will be relying on former national champion, Thomas Otu, Paul Emmanuel, Sanni Adamu, Taiwo Owolabi and lead female player, Aanu Aiyegbusi to win the tie. The match between Aiyegbusi and Quadri is expected to be one of the highlights of the Abuja encounter.
