Super Falcons star, Asisat Oshoala gets Capital Oil endorsement

Super Falcons and Arsenal ladies striker, Asisat Oshoala has been endorsed by chief Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah as an ambassador of Capital Oil and Gas Nigeria.

In a brief ceremony that took place at the Crowne Plaza hotel in Docklands, London, the 2015 African footballer of the year, who came in company of his manager and friend, Busola Akinyemi and Super Eagles defence strongman, Kenneth Omeruo, thanked the Nnewi-born oil magnate for the gesture and promised to continue playing well for both club and country in order to sustain the strong legacies of Capital Oil Nigeria.

She also presented the latest Arsenal home jersey to chief Ubah, who used the occasion to announce that soon, he will be floating a female football team in Anambra state.

Chief Ubah also invited Asisat to be special guest at his soon to be inaugurated women’s soccer league, which will flag off later this year in Anambra state.

Ubah has also accepted to be patron of the Asisat Oshoala foundation, a project that is geared towards encouraging the less privileged in society to discover their football talents and make a living for themselves.

An excited Oshoala said she is humbled by the reception and honour accorded her by chief Ubah.
