The Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Emzor Pharmaceutical Limited, Dr. Stella Okoli, has said that members of the Super Falcons, who just won their eight African Nations Cup trophy in Cameroun, are good inspiration to the younger generation of players in Nigeria.

“These players are worthy ambassadors of the country, and thorough them, Nigeria can be repositioned, against all odds,” Okoli said during a reception for the team shortly on arrival from Cameroon.

Emzor Pharmaceutical Limited is one of the major sponsors of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF). The company also has Super Falcons player, England-based Asisat Oshoala, as its brand ambassador.

Okoli was full of praises for the team, saying: “They went and succeeded in bringing the cup back home. There was no negative story whatsoever about them. They kept Nigeria’s flag flying in a most wonderful way. It is a fact they have shown to the entire world that Nigeria is made up of resilient, disciplined and great people. In fact, Nigerians are champions.”

Okoli enthused that the team has given the nation hope of better things ahead, adding, “with this victory, our girls have shown in another way that, good things are still coming out Nigeria and the country indeed has great and better future ahead. It is a thing of joy to see the team conquering at all fronts. We are happy to associate with them.”

Sports minister, Solomon Dalung and some top officials of the NFF, including its President, Amaju Pinnick, attended the reception, which took place in Ikoyi, Lagos, before the team moved to Abuja.
