Speaking at the occasion, the Executive Secretary of the Lagos Anglican Schools Management Board (LASMAB), The Venerable Victor Ayo Olusa said the occasion provided the students the platform to display their sports talents.

“The school’s sports festival provides the students an opportunity to showcase what God has endowed in them. And in our schools, it is also an opportunity to inculcate the spirit of sportsmanship and a healthy living; not only in the lives of our children, but also our parents as well,” he said.

A delighted Principal of the school, Reverend Bamidele Osunyomi said the occasion also affords the students stage for their talents to be nurtured to stardom.

“The talents we identify in the school’s sports festival are developed and that is why we organise it yearly so that we can help them to build a career out of it. Currently, one of our students is representing Lagos State in sports,” he stated.
