NWPL relegation play-off begins in Abuja today
Osun Babes of Osogbo will lock horns with Kaduna Queens in the first match of Nigeria Women Premier League (NWPL) relegation play-off at the Fifa Goal Project Pitch, Abuja by 1.00 p.m. on today, reports
The ‘Omoluabi Queens’, who defeated Crocodile Ladies last Wednesday, will be looking to avoid the drop in their match against the league debutants, Kaduna Queens.
The second match will pit Invincible Angels against Dream Stars by 3.00 p.m. at the same venue.
The winners of the two games will retain their places in the Nigeria Women Premier League in the new season, while the two losing teams will be relegated to the NWFL Pro-League.
