A Non-Governmental organisation (NGO), Art of Living Foundation at the weekend organised a clinic on the natural way of a healthy and happy living, held at the National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos.

The NGO was founded in India by H.H. Sri Sri Ravi Shankar to promote health, meditation, education, sustainable development, conflict resolution and disaster relief issues around the world. The event organised by the Art of Living Nigeria was in partnership with the Nigeria Olympic Committee. Daraju Industries, makers of MyMy product, sponsored the event.

Speaking at the occasion, a trustee member, Mr. Mahak Kansal, said the foundation is in over 155 nations conducting health benefit programmes to spread peace and harmony and bringing smiles to everyone.

“We have been here with the organisation in the last 10 years. Already, the foundation is in about 156 countries of the world and almost in all Africa countries I believe. In Nigeria, we want to pray for Nigerians as brothers.

“We know that Nigerians are happy people, but we want them to be happy inside too; with a peaceful and comfortable mind. We are already doing some programmes in the Niger Delta through the youth leadership training programme,” he said.

Kansal, who also spoke of other programmes organised in Lagos, said the foundation needs the support of everyone to help the healthy living campaign succeed.“We need every Nigerian to join in this programme. We want those in the corporate world, businessmen, kids, everyone to be part of this exercise.

“Also the youths are not left out in this, we know they are happy people, strong. The youth should always think about their country first, concentrate on their education and I am sure that God will definitely take care of the rest.. Our message also is that once we take care of others first, not us, but others first, then we will be automatically be taken care of by God, which is a divine law,” he stated.
