NFF to build mega office, showroom in Jigawa

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) yesterday said it had concluded plans to site a mega office and sport kits showroom in Jigawa State.

Jigawa FA Chairman, Sabo Eka, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that the facility would be sited in Dutse, the Jigawa capital, adding that the project would be executed by the NFF with the counterpart fund provided by FIFA.

“About three months ago, during our Annual General Meeting, the FA, out of the counterpart fund given to it by FIFA, decided to execute the FIFA Goal Project.

“The project is known at the local level as `FA Goal Project’. So, during the meeting, it was agreed that the office, which will be built in Jigawa, comprising the chairman’s office, vice-chairman, secretary, and other offices for members of the association,” he said.

The chairman said the building would also contain a sport kits showroom and a modern conference hall.
