The League Management Compnay (LMC) has charged Warri Wolves Media Officer, Moses Étu, for breaching Article C1 and Clause 1 appendix E of the Code of Conduct for club officials as contained in the Framework and Rules of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) and consequently fined N100, 000 and banned from all Glo Premier League games and activities for the rest of the season.

According to an LMC statement, Étu was cited “for breach of Article C1 when he published several comments that were considered not to be in the interest of the league, unfair, unsporting and capable of bringing the league to disrepute.

“He was also charged for breach of Article C1 clause E when Friday, October 29, he failed as a club officer to set positive example for others, especially players through his unguarded comments and frivolous allegations of manipulation of match made against the Abia Warriors versus Enyimba Match Day 36 fixture.”
