The Director of the Professional Golfers’ Association of Nigeria (PGAN), Samson Lawal, clocked 70 on Tuesday November 8, 2016.
The resident professional golfer at the Rayfield Golf Club, Jos, Plateau State, who expressed gratitude to God for the privilege, said, “It has been 70 fruitful years, especially since my path crossed with this beautiful game of golf.”
He expressed further happiness that this season of his life is spent giving back to the game that played a big role in his life.
“Virtually all my life has been lived around the game of golf, and serving as the director of the PGAN at this time is great for me. I will love the changes and development we initiate this season to help lift the game to lofty heights and better the lives of the average professional golfer,” he added.
