Kano Pillars management has handed down a three-match ultimatum to the Coach Ibrahim Musa-led technical crew to improve or face sanction, reports the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

Kano Pillars management has handed down a three-match ultimatum to the Coach Ibrahim Musa-led technical crew to improve or face sanction, reports the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

In a statement signed by the team’s media officer, Idris Malikawa, the team took the decision after reviewing the club’s performance in the last few weeks.

“The management under the chairmanship of Alhaji Surajo Yahaya has issued a three-match ultimatum to the technical crew to improve or face sanction.

“The management will no longer condone poor performance by the technical crew,” he said.

Malikawa said the management had scheduled an emergency meeting with the crew and other officials to review the team’s current situation.

Kano Pillars played a goalless draw with Rivers United FC at home and lost 0-1 to Lobi Stars FC of Makurdi at the Sani Abacha Stadium on Sunday.

Pillars have one point from two home matches played behind closed doors and occupy the 17th position on the league table.

The Kano-based team was asked to play three home matches behind closed doors for fans’ pitch invasion during the Super Six encounter with Enugu Rangers FC in Lagos.
