Israel Adesanya and Jon Jones have traded numerous verbal shots over the last year or so. But their latest exchange may have been the fiercest they’ve had yet, reports www.themix.net.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, which has largely shut down the combat sports world, for now, feuding between fighters has understandably diminished in recent weeks. But, recently Jon Jones and Israel Adesanya traded verbal shots on Twitter, in what may have been their most heated exchange yet.

Jones and Adesanya have been feuding for over a year now and as a result, talk about the stars fighting at some juncture has repeatedly made the rounds. The beef seems to have started when after Adesanya defeated Anderson Silva in February, 2019, he relayed he planned to go “hunting” after another G.O.A.T in Jones.

“Bones” wasn’t happy about the comments, and the two have gone at it through social media and interviews ever since.

Well, recently Adesanya fired the Twitter jab below at Jones: “Hey p—-y you still there… @JonnyBones.”

That reportedly resulted in x-rated responses below from Jones, but it has since been deleted.

So, it’s certainly clear that Adesanya and Jones have some issues with each other, big time. But will they end up fighting at some juncture?

If both men continue to hold their belts in the middleweight and light-heavyweight division for a couple of more bouts, it’s hard to imagine the all-star match-up not materializing. It would unquestionably be one of the biggest fights the UFC could put together in 2021.
