The IfeanyiUbah FC of Nnewi will tomorrow continue their fight for the top spot on the table as they engage Wikki Tourists of Bauchi in a Week 14 fixture of the Glo Premier League.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the match would be the club’s second on their new home ground, the Rojenny Stadium, Oba, near Onitsha.

The team had been playing their home matches at the Gabros Stadium also in Nnewi. The Anambra Warriors, as they are now fondly called, are currently third on the table with 23 points after seven wins, four losses and two draws in 13 games.

They trail Sunshine Stars of Akure and Wikki Tourists of Bauchi, who are occupying the first and second positions respectively on the table.
Sunshine have 26 points, while Wikki have 23 from the same number of matches.

The Bauchi side are also coming with an advantage of two wins against Taraba FC (1-2) and Sharks of Port Harcourt (3-0) after the break.
Notwithstanding, the IfeanyiUba boys will be relying on the fire power of Uchechukwu Onyedikachi and Solomon Enudi, who collectively scored five goals in their last two matches.

With Sani Kaita and Chubuzo Okoronkwo, the team, no doubt, boasts two vastly experienced footballers on the local scene at the moment.
Coach Mitko Dobrev, said his side had trained hard for Wikki, a team he described as a good side.

“We are training because we know Wikki is a good team, with a good coach, good tactics and so we are not leaving anything to chance.

“For us, what matters is aiming for the top of the league and earning a place on the continent,”
