I can’t force Pinnick to resign, says Minister
The ministry of Youth and Sports yesterday insisted that it has no knowledge of the hiring of any foreign coach for the Super Eagles as claimed by NFF president, Amaju Pinnick.
He also noted that he is not in the position to decide the fate of Pinnick and his board members, adding that it is left for them to judge their consciences on their performance.
“Except you people are saying that I should resign, and then I will ask for Amaju Pinnick and his board to quit.
“I cannot force him to resign. It is left for him to decide whether he will resign or not, and not asking me to tell him to resign. Like I said, we will ex-ray all our efforts and take a decision on the way forward on Tuesday,” he said.
