Firm supports Methodist Boys High School sports meet for healthy lifestyle

Giving reasons for the company’s involvement in the annual sporting event, the Human Resources Business Manager of the firm, Mrs. Olukemi Ajai said the benefits of maintaining a healthy lifestyle cannot be over-emphasised.

soccerAS part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR), e.Stream Networks, a licensed broadband communications provider, recently sponsored the 137th Inter-House Sports Competition of Methodist Boys High School, Victoria Island, Lagos, to create awareness on maintaining a good healthy lifestyle across all ages.

Giving reasons for the company’s involvement in the annual sporting event, the Human Resources Business Manager of the firm, Mrs. Olukemi Ajai said the benefits of maintaining a healthy lifestyle cannot be over-emphasised.

“We all know the general benefits of keeping fit: to control weight, combat health conditions and diseases, improve mood, promote better sleep and most importantly, boost energy level. We are supporting Methodist Boys High School as a way of endorsing their contribution towards keeping fit and maintaining mental alertness,” she said.

e.Stream Networks gave out prizes to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners across a list of track and field events, which includes parents’ race and the staff race won by the Principal, Very Revd. Captain Phillip Okunoren.

The colorful event had participating students in various track and field events across four houses – Didsbury, Handsworth, Westminister and Kingswood House, which finished first overall.
